Bookings Payment & Confirmation
All telephone or internet bookings must be confirmed by purchase
order or in writing. Payment for courses is due in full 14 days
prior to the start of the course. Payments can be made against an
invoice or at the time of booking (where upon a VAT receipt will
be issued). Please note that course places cannot be guaranteed
where payment terms are not met. For bookings made within 14 days
of course dates, payment in full may be required at time of booking.
Certificates will not be issued for any course not paid for in
full. Substitutions Name changes and substitutions can be made free
of charge on all course places that are booked and paid for.
Cancellations
No charge will be made for cancellations made outside 4 weeks (28
days). Any payments for bookings cancelled outside this period will
be credited in full. Cancellations made at more than 2 weeks (14
days), and less that 4 weeks (28 Days) notice will be subject to
a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made at less that 14 days
notice will be subject to the full fee (although name substitutions
are still permissible). No-shows or unattended course places cannot
be refunded.
LMS Commercial training reserves the right to change or cancel
courses. In these unlikely circumstances all candidates will be
re-booked on alternative courses without additional charges. We
will also offer full refunds where alternative courses are not convenient.
Attendance Standards & Certificates
Candidates who fail to attend parts of any course may be refused
certification or may not be allowed to sit exams. This will be at
the discretion of the senior trainer present, or in compliance with
HSE guidelines on attendance of HSE certified courses. No refunds
will be offered for absent candidates. Any candidates on certified
& assessed courses unable to meet course objectives, pass examinations
or demonstrate minimum standards in practical assessments will not
receive certificates. No refund will be offered for course failures.
Re-Qualifications (First Aid at Work)
In accordance with HSE regulations, any candidate not able to provide
evidence of a current and in date First Aid at Work certificate
will not be allowed to complete the FAW re-qualification course.
In these circumstances no refund will be given.
Suitability of Candidates
We remind employers that first aid courses do require an ability
to understand and learn from visual and written information. The
duties of a first aider also require certain levels of physical
ability and mobility. Employers are asked to consider the aptitude
and ability of their candidates and contact us if they require
further guidance or information. |
